Please note that we don't participate in piracy. We will do a small
quantity for private use only. Please don't ask us to make more than 5 CD 
copies of a copyrighted tape or record.

Straight full-album transfer: $25 + $10 Shipping & Media/Order
Straight full-album transfer with re-mastering: $65 + $10 Shipping & Media/Order

The best way to send writer demos is on cassette, but wouldn't it
be nice if the master you copied your demos from would NEVER 
wear out, losing sound quality along the way? 

Cassette tapes shed a little oxide with each use. They keep losing a 
little quality with each pass until there's enough oxide missing to 
cause dropouts. An unknown writer may send out hundreds of copies of
a demo tape before getting a song signed. 

With a CD, sound quality of the millionth pass is identical to the 
first pass, and they never wear out!

Even DATS wear out, though they go straight from "Good Sound" to 
"Dropouts". Either tape is subject to physical damage from 
pinch-rollers and other parts of the drive mechanism.



All of this also holds true for up-and-coming Artists & Bands, but
 Artist demos are often better distributed on CD instead of cassette.

Artists & Bands might want to have several copies of the demo on CD's
to send out as part of your promo package.



 BUT WHAT DOES IT COST??? 




For $49 (plus shipping & handling) The Cherokee Studio will take 
your music demos on cassette (One to Three songs - up to 12 minutes),
read it into our digital workbench, THEN:

We will raise the volume without clipping, clean up the noise and hiss,
and digitally enhance the song with various dynamic range expanders.

Then the digitally remastered song will be burnt onto a CD and shipped
to you custom-labeled, in a jewel case.

We will make any number of extra copies for $15 Each

 Do you need just a few CD's to sell at gigs?

Don't have the money to get 500 or a thousand copies pressed? 

We can make CD's from your DAT in any small quantity needed.



To create CD's from a DAT, the charge is $45 for the first one, 
plus $10 per copy, any number of copies per run, mastering included.
Standard labels are black lettering on a white label.

Color labels are priced depending on individual design. 

Please note, Your mixed masters must be on DAT, CD, or Cassette only.

CD's come in Jewel cases, no inserts.



We can print inserts for you on 110# card stock. 

There is a $20 setup & layout charge plus $2 each for inserts. 
Standard inserts are Black lettering on white background, with a 
simple line-graphic
